The Tropical Detox Mask by Les Secrets de Loly is a versatile product that fits perfectly into the hair routine of all natural curls! Here are 4 ways you can use it:
1. Detox care (once a month):
The kaolin clay removes residues such as styling products and pollution from your hair. It cleanses deeply and helps to restore the lightness of your curls. Ideal if your hair looks sticky or heavy. Apply to wet hair, starting at the roots and massaging into the lengths. Leave for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
2. Transitional care (every 7-10 days):
If you are returning from chemically treated hair to natural curls, the mask will help you speed up the process and keep your hair healthy. Use once a week, leave on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse.
3. Washing & Detoxification (1-2 times a month):
Tropical Detox can replace shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, massage into the scalp like shampoo, then distribute into the lengths and ends. Leave in for 5 minutes, detangle, rinse and style as usual.
4. Cleansing hair care (1-2 times a month):
Perfect for sensitive scalps or those with problems such as dandruff or itching. Apply to the scalp, massage gently and leave for 20 minutes. Then rinse.
Note: The kaolin clay can wash out plant-based hair dyes, so you may need to shorten the exposure time. Stir well before use.
